What does it mean?

Does it mean something nasty,

something obseen?


I've seen the rivers flow

and I've seen how the flowers grow

now if they can hold up thro' winter

how come we can't have hope ?


Aren't our problems just the same ?

every once and awhile something comes in our way...

but only for a short time
