Bubsy 2

This is the sequal to one of the most famous side-scrolling games,Bubsy Bobcat. The Original for Snes and
Sega Genesis.

PLATFORM ( S ) : This game was originally made for the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo entertainment system. It later made a second appearence as a Gameboy B/W game a few years later.

STORY : In this game, a evil pig (I forget what his name was :P) has created a evil portal that's creating chaos in Bubsy's world ! It's up to Bubsy to put a stop to all this mess and destroy the portals.

RATINGS :

This game was 'good',but it wasn't nearly as fun as the previous game. The graphics where slightly better, pretty much the same.Bubsy had more controls and abilities in this game,(which was a good thing)
He could attack by throwing yarn balls at enemies (which where infinite) pies (which you only had a few of ) and black holes which you used to exit the level and return back to the main area.

Bubsy wasn't the only character playable in this game,Bubsy II also featured a 2 player level with Bubsy's nephews, the twins. Usually, the first player would play as Bubsy, and the second player would have control over the twins. Throughout the level, the twins could toss down objects like banana peels in effort to slow Bubsy down.

The game was designed different, instead of going to one level after another, you had a choice of levels to explore. In each level, there were three different versions of it. I think there was about 5 levels.. but I'm not sure, its been awhile since I played it. Lol.

So basicly, there was alot to look through.. but the levels were small and easy.. too easy. The difficulty in this game is less than the previous game. If you had the talent for Bubsy, and got the hang of it,you could beat Bubsy 2
in about a couple of hours. It had some replay value, but not enough to make it worth buying.

Since the game was easy to beat,it didn't save your progress. There were more mini-games (such as Frog shooting and the Armodillo game)plus, some water levels where Bubsy could actully SWIM in. But for some odd reason, dispite all the add-ons,this game didn't have the 'Bubsy Magic' the first one did. But,its still worth checking out.

Gameplay:  5/10
 Graphics:  7/10
 Sound:  5/10
 Overall:  3/10
